Home-made Nail Dotting Tools

If you don’t want to buy nail dotting tools there a plenty of ways to create your own without spending any money.
1. A Pencil (with a rubber on the end) and a Pin.
The pencil acts as a handle, without it the pin would be quite fiddly to hold.
2. A Bobby Pin.
Just bend it open so it’s easier to hold.
3. Toothpicks.
Easy to use, cheap and you can throw them away instead of cleaning them.
4. A Pen or Pencil.
Use the flat end for really big dots and the small end for medium sized dots.
5. A Paintbrush (end or tip)
Do you use any of these instead of an actual nail dotting tool?

I have used toothpicks before. Never considered a pin on the back of a pencil. Good idea.
