I’m quite fond of Barry M products. Back in my partying days I used to wear their lipsticks with their lip gloss over the top on almost every night out! I think I have around ten of these so I thought I’d just swatch four of them for now and I’ll do the rest another time. The colours I’ll be using are 147 Peachy Pink, 101 Marshmallow, 100 Baby Pink and 129 Palest Lavender.
These cost £4.49 and are available from barrym.com, Boots & Superdrug.
Out of the ones I’ve swatched today, they were all fairly drying apart from 129 Palest Lavender which has a more creamy consistency and a slight shimmer to it. I find that they can look chalky on your lips but you can fix that by applying a balm or gloss over the top.
Marshmallow is one of my favourite nude lipsticks but a gloss is definitely needed with it otherwise it looks a bit like concealer!
I don’t see the pink in Peachy Pink, it just looks peachy to me, either swatched on my skin or on my lips. It might be more pinky on darker skin seeing as I’m so pale.
Baby Pink has a hint of lilac about it but it is a cute Barbie pink colour, this is another one where you definitely have to use a gloss over the top.
All of these last for hours but the darker colours are prone to staining. The only one that does this out of the four colours I’ve shown is 147 Peachy Pink.
I think these are definitely worth the price, a complete bargain in my eyes. I like the packaging, matte black with the gold Barry M logo. It makes the lipsticks look more high end, they’re similar to Nars lipsticks, the same shape and colour. They also come in a wide range of colours, even a black! The only thing I don’t like is how easy the numbers rub off on bottom. Marshmallow is my favourite out of all of the ones I own, I’m running pretty low, need to pick up another one soon.
Which of these do you prefer? I’m thinking of including a Lip Paint in my giveaway when I reach 200 followers <3

Viva Glam Nicki is the new Viva Glam lipstick for, you guessed it, Nicki Minaj. This is available on the MAC website and in stores for £13.50 for (I think) the next year.
It has Nicki’s signature on the tube and like all Viva Glam lipsticks 100% of the money goes to their AIDS charity.
It is described as a yellow pink and it has a satin finish. It’s one of those “kind of matte but not quite” lipsticks.
This is very bright, so won’t be for everybody but I quite like it and I don’t think I have anything else like it in my hoard/collection.
This looks so different when swatched on my extremely pale skin to how it looks on my lips!
I’ve also included a full face shot so you can see what it looks like properly. I don’t normally do these because I always seem to be pulling some stupid awkward face!
I swatched it next to the other Nicki Minaj lipstick from MAC, Pink Friday, in case anyone was wondering how it compared to that.
As you can see they are totally different shades of pink.
If you’ve got any questions about this or want to see it swatched next to something else, I’ll try my best to help, just leave me a comment, or if you prefer you can always email me.

It is a light nude colour which shows up nicely on my lips.
This doesn’t give that ‘corpse’ look that a lot of nudes can as it shows up a bit pinky on me.

This lipstick is Rouge Volupte in 7. Lingerie Pink by Yves Saint Laurent.
♥ 7. Lingerie Pink
This is richly pigmented, it covers the lips in one swipe and feels really creamy and moisturising.
These are fairly expensive but I think they’re worth it.
You can get this at Boots, Debenhams and online. I think they’re around £22.
